As we state on our home page, we believe that the consumer in today's real estate market needs all of the help possible in achieving a successful real estate transaction, and we try to do our part by providing unbiased information about properties listed for sale, and rankings, based upon performance, of real estate agents and brokers in your area to give you the maximum opportunity to find the perfect home at the perfect price.

Unfortunately, not everyone shares this view. Many Multiple Listing Services (MLS), their national organization, and individual real estate brokerages believe that their economic interests are best served by choking off any access to listing data by anyone other than a member of their "club", and they wish to destroy the service that we provide to you. We believe that, for sellers of property, when a broker takes a listing to sell your property, that broker owes you a fiduciary duty to obtain the widest distribution of your listing information to maximize your opportunity to market your property and obtain the best price in the shortest time. For buyers of property, we believe that you, as consumers, are entitled to all available information to assist you in making what could be the largest purchase you will ever make. We believe that when a broker elevates his own interest over yours to try to control the market, that broker has violated his duty to you, and your economic interest has been injured.

Although we are not eager to become entangled in lawsuits, we believe that the MLSs, their national organization, and many individual large brokerages are in the process of combining to make a concerted effort to stop us from delivering our service to you, and to deny you your right to all data available about properties on the market. We believe that we may have no choice but to file class actions in several states to preserve our rights and your rights.
