Patti’s personal passions have provided her with ample opportunities to be an active member of both the Boone and Blowing Rock communities. A commitment to fitness led her to own and manage Fitness Works, a training facility for men and women for 12 years, where she assisted clients with personal training and Pilates. Prior to this business adventure, she was a full time Realtor with Coldwell Banker in Boone. Patti’s greatest passion continues as a volunteer assisting women and children in her community. She served on the Board of Directors for OASIS for more than 15 years and was able to assist OASIS and WAMY, two local non-profits, in the real estate purchase of a pediatric commercial building which later became the local Family Resource Center. Her commitment to women and children has continued in the role of President of the Appalachian Women’s Fund for the last three years. Patti is married to John Turner, a real estate/transactional attorney with Turner Law Office in Boone.
